One of the founder member of the Jamaican band Israel Vibration died in the United States. Albert ”Apple” Craig Gabriel musician, singer and songwriter born on April 24 in Jamaica in 1955.
Gabriel toured and recorded true hymns of reggae music that crossed borders alongside his friends Cecil Spence & Lascelle Bulgin, where they formed the reggae trio Israel Vibration in which he was part of (1975 – 1998) His career was always full of hits whether with the group in which he had impact compositions like “Falling Angels” and “There is No End” or on solo projects when he brought the album (Another Moses) released in 1999 with the first roots of the song “I’m Still Waiting.”
Apple Gabriel left the band in 1997 to start a solo career, which included several studio albums. In 2010, he released his latest album “Teach Them Right”.
On March 7, he made a photo post on Facebook hospitalized in the city of Atlanta Georgia USA where he lived. Any cause related to COVID19 is totally ruled out.
