Dalton Browne dies at 64

Dalton Browne of the famous Jamaican Browne music family. The guitarist and producer suffered a massive heart attack last Thursday (October 29), died at the University Hospital of the West Indies (UHWI) in St Andrew on Sunday (November 1). “He did the surgery and we were all hoping that he would have been on the road to recovery, but his heart just wasn’t up to it. It is just so sad.”

He has worked with reggae singer, Freddie McGregor, as his musical director and also worked with Senegalese-American singer, songwriter, record producer, Akon on his album, Konvicted and member of the 12 Tribes of Israel.
